“Let’s Get Lost” Road Trip Kit Giveaway

During these past few weeks, “Girl vs Globe” has embarked on a wild road trip through the world of social media. It’s only been eight months since I launched this website, but I have now amassed almost 1,500 fans on Facebook, more than 4,000 on Twitter and over 1,300 on Instagram. Can I get a whoop whoop?!

It definitely sounds like it’s time to pop the champagne but I am currently on four different kinds of antibiotics and have just returned from a crazy party holiday in Croatia, so I have decided to seek out different forms of celebrating. Last time I checked, everybody still liked freebies so that’s what I’m bringing you today – an opportunity to win a summer road trip kit and a copy of Adi Alsaid’s debut novel, “Let’s Get Lost”!

Why should you care? Because the book is all about travel and it’s amazing! Honestly – I read it over the course of two days, because I hated putting it down. “What is it about?” you ask. Glitter Magazine described it as a story of love, loss, ambition and finding the true meaning of life and I’m inclined to agree. In brief, it tells the story of four American teens with one thing in common – a free-spirited girl named Leila, who crashes into their lives in her absurdly red car at the exact moment they need someone most.

Adi Alsaid
The “Let’s Get Lost” author was born and raised in Mexico City. He attended college at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. While in class, he mostly read fiction and continuously failed to fill out crossword puzzles, so it’s no surprise that after graduating he packed up his car and escaped to the California coastline to become a writer.
He’s now back in his hometown, where he writes, coaches high school and elementary basketball, and has perfected the art of making every dish he eats or cooks as spicy as possible.
In addition to Mexico, he has lived in Tel Aviv, Las Vegas and Monterey, California. A tingly feeling in his feet tells him that more places will eventually be added to the list.

Are you intrigued? Me too, which is why I’ve sat down with the book’s author, Adi Alsaid, for a brief chat. Stay turned to find out what inspired this up-and-coming writer to publish this debut novel and how he likes to travel – I will publish the full interview next week!
